Assistant Principal Ms. LaRue Frederick

Ms. LaRue Frederick joined the South Shades Crest family in 2018.  Her career as an educator began with Hoover City Schools in 2002. She taught at Trace Crossings Elementary for two years, where she taught computer and 3rd grade, and then taught for fourteen years at Riverchase Elementary.  At Riverchase Elementary, she taught 2nd and 3rd grades along with STEAM.

Ms. Frederick earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) .  She earned her Administrative Certification and EdS in Adiministration of Elementary and Secondary Education from Auburn University.
